  • Power output on radio decreases as computer sidetone volume decreases

while sending my station info via BPSK-31 I noticed the volume from my computer side tone slowly diminishing and noticed that the power level from my radio going down with it. Seems like the longer it transmits the lower it goes. Any ideas? My rf power level control on my Navigator is up to 75% or a little more.

    OM,

For what it's worth I have similar operation with a FTdx-3000 and a Signalink USB ..... I think it is more to do with the radio then HRD or Interface .... When I had the same Signalink connected to a FTdx-5000, the power output remained steady ... Another setup, Navigator with the FTdx-5000 also stays at the same power level ...
