  • HRD Logbook API

    Use the fields as you would do for an ADIF export. All fields are needed as HRD does no parsing and will insert direct into the Database.

    You must use the ADIF spelling the country list to add to the HRD logbook so it will be recognized for awards and editing.

    Sample code is available.

    Ham Radio Deluxe
    Logbook CLI

    HRDLogbook has an external Command Line Interface via port 7826.

    The prompt is a “c” in brackets.

    Ex.
    [c]

    CLI commands:
    exit Drop the connection
    quit Drop the connection
    echo Echo whatever is typed after “echo” and the CR.
    ver Return the version of HRDLogbook.
    Ex.
    [c] ver
    Ham Radio Deluxe Version 6.2.230.
    db Database command
    add [dbname] Add a database entry. The database name is optional. The database entries should be on the end of the line with curly braces.
    Ex.
    [c] db add {CALL="K0BAD" TIME_ON="192021" QSO_DATE="20140323"}
    [c] db add "HRD My Logbook" {CALL="K0BAD" TIME_ON="192021" QSO_DATE="20140323"}

    ===================
    List the available databases.

    [c] db list

    ===================
    Import a ADX (ADIF 3.x) file.

    [c] db import "HRD My Logbook" "C:\Users\JoeBlow\My Documents\New Logbook.ADX"

    Note, if the database does not exist, it will be created.
