I have this working OK, thanks for an excellent program Sanjay! but here's the "but".. On my Android phone the page is not rendered correctly, giving me tiny buttons on an enormous grid. I have to zoom right in to see the frequency display then scroll for a very long way across to the buttons! I have tried it on HTC Hero (Android 2.1) and HTC Desire with same result. The login pages are fine.
Standard browser and Dolphin browser looked just the same.
A Windows phone running Opera mobile looked OK. Also looks OK in Google Chrome on the PC.
Is it easy to get at the html to edit it?

Is it possible for you to take a picture of what it looks like on your Android and send it to me.

I know others have used it on android and reported it worked fine so I am puzzled why you should have a problem

Regarding the source code you can download it from sourceforge

    Sanjay

Here are some views: web4login shows the login screen which is OK. The buttons and freq displays are as they appear without zooming in, there is a LOT of scrolling to go between buttons and frequency display! It is very hard to find the displays in all the black area.
The last one (web4opera) shows what happens if I use Opera mobile which caches on its server I think, I never get a radio display, just this login information. Very strange!
This is Andoid 2.1 update1 on an HTC Hero. If I get a new phone I'll run Firefox which ought to work better.

    Thanks
    Dave.

    Dave,

No good ideas why you are having issues. Maybe you can compare notes with davemartin who posted that it was working fine on Android.

I do not yet have an Android phone so cannot really test it out.

HiGreat program which I use on my laptop and iPad from home and when travelling to listen on 80mts through to 3cms from my remote station (also use remote hams but that doesn't work on the iPad due to flash :-).However, I find setting the frequency difficult with the up down buttons and wonder if there is anyway we could have a box where you type in the frequency required? BTW - I can't use radio memories to get round it for the common ones as I have an FT897 which HRD cannot manage the memories on.Also, is there any way to tweak the UI, presumably its done in one of the files in the library - want to change the colours / layout. I'm happy to have a go but not very skilled or has someone else done Some custom versions?Best 73 - Noel G8GTZ

    Noel,

No immediate plan to add a textbox to change the frequencies but time permitting I will add that as an option in the future.

Changing colors is easy just edit the global/web4hrd.css file (back it up first so that you can revert to it if you mess it up).
Also remember to clear your browser cache after changing the file and then reload the page.

Changing layout is a bit more difficult you could edit the main.jsp, tab_radio.jspf and reload the page

    Have fun
