ya, ya! a great program. been using it for some time now. gives a great visual of what you can expect to reach based upon projected values.
You'll also need the prop models here, which the program will prompt you to use during install.
I'd bump your rep for the recommendation, but looks like I already have recently. you G4 guys make some good contributions! Good job!

Hey Frank, give us some of those sunspots you've got there.{sub}
Sun spots? Someone ask for sun spots? Are you sure?
But back to VOAProp, here's what my 20M, 100W, dipole would look like:
... and it's usually about right. "Fringe" areas are better reached with digital modes. I've worked grayline to Canary Island, coastal Spain, etc. this time of day quite a few times. Europe from NW USA ends up mostly through Canada and over Greenland. Continuing through the same path even takes us to South Africa. I was surprised the first time I notice that I seldom go through the US to get to folks on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

Well, that SSN of 71 might have to be adjusted. Seems like it always fixed with updates... not using the program now with no HF. Anyway, the spirit of the previous post stands.![]()
I'm having difficulties getting VOAProp to work under wine. I've installed voacap and voaprop to the right places (after having tried different places), but the only thing I get is an empty window, with the caption "Exception C:\itshfbc\bin_win\voacapw.exe". Voaprop starts up, shows the map, but then everything freezes and the windows do not get updated anymore. sticker printing
