The last 2 callsigns I looked up from HRD logbook v5 buil2494 to view on Google Earth placed them both in the Gulf of Guinea off the East coast of Africa. Obviously those are the wrong locations.
Callsign looked up: YL2SM and 7X4AN.

Firstly please update to build 2893 which you can download from here http://www.ham-radio-deluxe.com/HRDv5.aspx your version is over a year old!
I have just tried both of the calls you list using B.2893 and they worked faultlesly so please try again after you have updated and let me know the result
BTW its real nice and good maners to use your name and call sign when posting so that we know who we are talking to!

Also, how do you have Callsign lookup configured? Free QRZ.com lookups, paid QRZ.com XML subscription, or QRZ or Hamcall CD lookup? W/the Free QRZ.com lookup you must be logged into your free QRZ.com account and have a browser window opened, otherwise you don't get the full detail, like gridsquare or lat/lon, just name and address. Without lat/lon, GE defalts to 0/0 lat/lon, which puts you off of Africa, a very well known occurence.
You should also be aware that non-US calls don't always have a grid or lat/lon associated with their lookups, unless the non-US ham has manually added it to their callsign record on whatever system you're using for lookups. In this case tho, both calls do have lat/lon and grid square on the QRZ.com record, but maybe not on the others.
And as Terry said, you really do need to update your HRD.
