    Default DX Summit

    Hi
Can DX Summit be configured to work via HRD and logbook or is it only for HRD Clusters?

I have tried to track any information about it in the DX Cluster threads but no luck.

    Question Re: DX Summit

Only CC Cluster & DXSpider clusters are supported. DXSummit appears to be a web-only cluster.

BTW, which DX Cluster are you using? The Old one in the HRD window or the NEW one in HRD Logbook (View > DXCluster > Display)? The old one is really no longer supported, and hasn't been updated in ages. The New one has many, many clusters you can use (once DXCluster displays, click on Options to selecr the cluster and enter the various required options.)

Many thanks. I am using the cluster via the logbook with all the different options.

I did add a DX this afternoon to the HP9DRV cluster via the logbook but it never showed up in the display.

Also, what stations I see in the dx cluster I am logged onto is only seen by others logged into the same cluster? Does that actually make any sense??!!

    Thanks for your help.

I did once chat with you about Win7 blue screening on me and locking up at different times. I changed the compatability settings to "Windows XP with SP3" and all seems stable.

    Lightbulb Re: DX Summit

You need to be Registered with the HB9DRV cluster to Post Spots to it (same thing applies for the GB7MBC cluster). There are links in the DX Cluster > Options to send an email to the cluster Sysop. Be sure to include your Callsign in the email, as Ian (the Sysop) can't register you without your callsign. Separate registration emails are suggested. Other clusters may also require you to be registered with them as well before you can Post a spot in their particular cluster. When you post a spot in the cluster, it will be sent out to all the various clusters, so you only need to be registered in the cluster you're Posting spots in.

    Exclamation Re: DX Summit

See also the Post at http://forums.ham-radio.ch/showthread.php?22936-Registration-gap! about a Registration gap, so it may take Ian a while to catch up w/registrations.

Just for info, I am up to date with registrations as of this morning. I generally do all my daily registrations in the morning (UK Time )
