    Default Generic radio

Are there plans to offer a "generic" user definable template for a radio that is not controllable. For example, I use the HRD suite (primarily DM780) with my old Kenwood TS-430s (and also have with my old Drakes) on occasion (although I am currently running an ICOM IC-718), so to use all the features of DM-780 and the logging I have to use one of the Demo-Matic radios to fool HRD that it is doing something. It would be nice to have a user-definable radio for these non-controllable radios, so that it can be properly announced to the HRDLog.net community and etc.

    Question Re: Generic radio

By "user-definable radio" do you mean an option to name the rig to other than the Dem-O-Matic name? Like for instance you could name it TS-430s or a Drake xxx or whatever?

    Just curious.

That's what I was thinking. Obviously you can't control anything, but it would reflect what you are actually using.
